For Valentines day 2015 I sent a post card to a special lady, I had the intention of sending one every couple of weeks to see how the story would unfold. She needed some space so I only ever sent one, but I didn’t want them to gather dust under a broken heart and I wanted to find out how the story would continue so I have decided to share them with you. They were inspired by the Flax Golden Tales by Erin Morgensten, author of The Night Circus, my favourite fictional book.
Running wild and free.
In your eyes I see a version of me I would like to be.
Our eyes would follow the ladybird to its new perch on a prickly bush covered in butterflies. You’d watch the butterflies as they flit from flower to flower, their wings lit up like fine silk draped over a soft lantern. You’d smile and think that I was watching them too. […]
In order to soar, one first needs to leap.
May waves of love come tumbling into your life this Valentines day.
